Sunday afternoon organised social/competitive tennis

Come and join us on Sunday afternoons from 1pm throughout the winter season for organised social tennis.  20 members already signed up for singles and doubles tournaments.  For further details see Chris Robinson or just turn up at 1pm.  Click here to see latest scores
 
New court bookings system throughout winter

During the winter months with reduced daylight hours, we are now trying a new booking system for the use of the courts. The aim of the booking system is to give everyone the opportunity of using the floodlit court.

  1. The court can only be booked for 1 hour at a time.
  2. Maximum time you can block book a court is 4 sessions.
  3. Before going on court players are required to put their names down on the court booking sheet as confirmation that they have booked the court.
  4. Once the allotted time is up the court must be re booked.
  5. Ben Howarth, the Club Coach will change the court booking sheets monthly.

Having just spent over £70,000 on new courts, BLTC’s Committee would like to hear what you think is good about the club, and what could be further improved.  Big and small, cheap and expensive – go on, 12 questions in just 5 minutes! - Pick up a copy of the questionnaire in the clubhouse

Centenary offer - To help celebrate 100 years of Brentwood tennis club and to promote the club and the newly resurfaced courts we are offering one off reduced membership rates (half price) for new members.   Existing members who recommend new members will receive £20 off next year subscriptions if the new members continue with full membership next year - see club house for further details.
 
 

Sad news : 

It is with sadness that we announce the funeral of Stuart Smith.

Stuart will be greatly missed at Brentwood tennis club and our condolences go to his family.

The funeral is on Tuesday morning (29th May) for family only, followed by refreshments at the tennis Club at 12.30, open to all members.  Donations to St Luke's Hospice, Little Common Lane, SHEFFIELD 11 by family request.
